Who Is Rocio?
Hi! I'm Rocio (that's Ro-siii-oh) a video producer, conscious author, content creator and constantly evolving creative entrepreneur. 💃🏻
I'm currently focused on bite sized branding videos, social media ads and creative clips and visual content for various brands, artists and individuals. I'm also an Author for various publications - both in digital and print. Including but not limited to - Alternative Media, Film Daily, my group - Thoughts For The Woken Soul , and my own publications at Rocio Belinda Mendez.
I'm constantly striving and thriving to provide support, inspiration, knowledge and resources. To empower others through my creations, through my musings, my learnings and as a result, my teachings.
My hope is that while I am becoming my best self, following my bliss and purpose - I can benefit others on their path. Light the way through the darkness and aid those that resonate with me through my art, expression and service. ✨
What brought me here?
I graduated from my Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media Production in 2014, and I Co-Directed, Cast, and Edited an entire Feature Film in 2013. This practical experience allowed me to dive head-first into the industry and learn by eagerly doing. Once I completed my qualifications, I decided to get work as a director and editor, honing in on my talents and skills. After a couple of years of horrible experiences, a few outlined in this article, I decided to take the leap, and start my own Video Production Company! So, here I am.
My vision for Filmagination!
Filmagination is no longer a stand alone business or brand. I'm in the very exciting process of amalgamating these video production services with my energetic exchange, my knowledge, mindful learnings and techniques to not only create art, but guide brands, individuals and artists in their progression. To support not only in the creation of content, but the creators themselves. 🍃
I am not a coach, nor do I claim or desire to be!
I am someone who has a lot to offer energetically, informationally, spiritually, creatively and authentically. I have a knack for understanding brands, purpose, art, vision and individuals! A main focus of mine (if not the only one) is in sharing my learnings, connecting with others through art and information, through energetic exchange and mindful expression. ✨
Inspiring those who are open to me and what I can offer, while being an example of what I want to see more of, constantly growing, evolving, improving! As a mindful, purposeful soul, I am creating a niche for my video production services. I'd like to support businesses, artists and individuals with heart, big dreams and particular focus on wellness, awareness, philanthropy, mindfulness and all things beneficial to this amazing Earth we're all rotating within 🌍
To create, not to entertain but to empower, to inform, to evoke emotion and shift perspective for the betterment of all.

I plan to constantly evolve and take my businesses with me, so I can better serve those that need me. I can only offer what I already have! And I will continue to adapt what I offer, as I gain what I gain and release what I release. 🍂
